A Leading Automotive Industry at Coimbatore is looking for Manager - Sales & Marketing as per the JD as given below
Age : 40+ Yrs
Qualification : BE / Diploma in Tool & Die / NTTF
Preferable : Degree in Management
Experience : 12 + years in Auto Motive industries
Core Field : Sales & Marketing for Tool Room & Plastic Molding Shop
Nature and Scope of Job :
- Marketing and business development of plastic and related sub assembly division.
- Handling of enquires and quotation.
- Communication/ coordination with team for perfect execution of components.
- Formulation and achievement of business plan in review with top management.
- Identifying new horizon for continuous business growth.
- ISO 9001/ TRS 16949 activities to marketing and business development.
- Making business project and strategic alliance.
- Design, development & implementation of marketing information/ research strategies.
- Competitor bench marking.
- Coordination exhibition and business fairs.
- Enhance business through continuous interaction.
- Brand building.
- Development of business tool (Advertising & media) which including website development/ updation and cooperate presentation.
- Able to work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools and training packages for key staff.
- Developing and managing customer care programs for improved sales success.
- Ability to chase up new business opportunities.
- Increasing brand awareness and bringing in new customers.
- Maintaining relationships with key clients.
- Excellent lead generation and development skills.
- Program / Project Management and Customer Support activity in the manufacturing of plastic injection moulded components to the Automotive, Consumer Electronic/ Pharmaceutical Packaging Segment.
- Understanding customer requirements, communicating to the plant,
- Preparing product cost estimates / quotations taking into account all expenses and Profit on Projects with help of internal project team
- Co-ordinate with customer and the company for obtaining design approvals, technical clarifications if any, prepare timelines for the manufacturing and keep customer and management updated on the progress of activities in a timely manner.
- Synchronization with the customer and the design team for concept generations and product designs, industrialization team for pilot and industrial tool / technology development and production team for ramp up and commercial supplies to the customer.
- Co-ordination with customers for all details related to the product / tool ownership of projects in terms of time and payments and escalation control if things are not as per plan.
- Assist and support customer in getting the samples / protocols ready on time, coordinate the trials, inspection reports and discuss with customer for products approval and assume responsibility until full payment is received.
- Assume leadership in conduct of Customer Meetings and informing all concerned the roles and responsibilities with time lines.
- Be a single point of contact for all customers and collection of payments in a timely manner.
- Preparing and maintaining weekly / monthly Sales Reports, MIS, APQP documents, Trend Charts etc.
Key Deliverables :
- Cost : To achieving the POP (Profit on Projects) with complete cost controlling related to the project expenses, preparing and tracking the budgets, planning cash flows, ensuring no positive cost deviations.
- Risk Management : Doing thorough Risk Assessment / Analysis during different phases of project and defying the same Risk mitigation and control plans.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Practical, performance-driven and effective, with a proven track record in the Sales & Marketing area
- A pleasing personality, self confident and positive attitude with high energy levels and commitment to meet senior level management in multinational / large corporations in conducting discussions and meetings relating to the business.
- Should possess good analytical and planning skills towards Program / Project Management and highlight / escalate in advance to customers and the senior management.
- Excellent networking, communication, presentation skills and willing to travel extensively.
