Manager - Market Research - FMCG Business Conglomerate (10-15 yrs)
We are currently looking for a Manager - Market Research position for one of the largest FMCG Business Conglomerates in India, to be based at their office in Kolkata.

Job Details :
Key Focus Areas :
a. Work closely with the brand team to understand research requirements
b. Recommend research activities based on brand plans to ensure and enable brand team to meet objectives
c. Liaison with research agencies to ensure that research is done using most suitable protocols and meets objectives
d. Understand the cost elements of research to ensure optimal use of resources
e. Develop reporting templates and protocols
f. Combine consumer knowledge, internal processes and knowledge of environment to generate meaningful business insights
g. Be the custodian of knowledge on consumer research and act as consumer voice within the team
Principal duties and responsibilities :
a. To create avenues of growth for the organisation through informed decision making
b. To enable higher potential for the organisation through better actionability of research data
c. To align efforts of research agency, research team with overall brand efforts and focus
d. To collaborate with brand team for high effectiveness of brand interventions
e. To enhance data usability and reliability by improving data quality
f. To engage with research agencies to adopt new improved and modern age methodologies, in order to bring in efficiencies in the system
g. To facilitate information sharing among relevant stakeholders within the organisation, while maintaining high level of security for sensitive information
Direct Report: 1 Assistant Manager
Role Requirements :
a. Education/Qualification : MBA in Marketing from an institution of national repute
b. Experience : 8 to 12 years experience in Consumer Research / Consumer Insights / Market Research domain out of which :
i. Preferably at least 3 years should be with a market research firm, working for FMCG clients
ii. At least 3 years should be with a multinational/large-scale FMCG company as a senior member/team lead in the Consumer Insights domain
Job Location : Kolkata
Salary : Best among the industry (Could Range around Rs.32.0 to 35.0 Lpa)
