Manager - International Sales - Medical Devices (5-15 yrs)
Role : International Sales Manager
Company : Company is specialists in controlled environments & Cleanrooms. Over the years they've built Viable Infrastructure for Biotech facilities, Hospitals, and Predominantly Pharmaceutical facilities, in over 15 countries across the globe.
The International sales manager would be responsible for generating a continuous stream of leads and enquiries through the following actions -
Strengthening existing market base in African continent, Specifically East Africa
- Developing New Associations with Agents- Channel Partners and other influencers
- Developing strategic partnerships with other companies
- Actively participating in international trade shows and exhibitions. Ideal attributes
- An ideal candidate would be young, dynamic, aggressive, pro-active, having the ability to handle situations independently
- Having a strong exposure to any of the international markets and would have been responsible for a turnover of minimum 10 crores (desirable)
- Average project value would be 3-4 crores
- Good negotiation skills, working closely with team members and charting out well co-ordinated travel plans would be the key metrics determining his success.
- Ambitious and drive for growth.
- Good in communication (not necessarily language fluency- but ability to effectively put across thoughts and ideas), well organised- eg handling visiting cards, getting them filed
. Independent mindset- not being told what to do. - Good presentation skills and a sound technical knowledge of the functioning of clean rooms and applications.
KRAs :
- The total number of leads/enquiries generated and the ability to forge strong partnerships with influencers will determine the success of the region and consequently, the success of the candidate. -
The person has to closely interact with the agents and work together with them to set up new markets, measure their success and be open to trying out new ones if required.
Estimated Travel: 10-12 days/month Education: Mechanical Engineer preferably with MBA marketing
