Manager - Institutional Sales - Horeca & Out-Of-Home Consumption (7-10 yrs)

JOB PURPOSE :

We are looking for an energetic Institutional Sales Manager to help launch a new brand in snack foods. The candidate will spearhead entry into HORECA and Out-of-Home (Travel, entertainment, vending) consumption areas. This role requires an individual who is flexible and results oriented. Attention to detail, ability to manage relationships, and innovative thinking are essential to this job. Prior experience in one of the above areas with foods is a must, experience with snack foods is a plus. If you- re also an excellent communicator and team player, we'd like to meet you.

REPORTS TO : Head of Sales

Remuneration : 8-12 lakhs

Experience :

- Atleast 3-4 yrs HORECA sales/BD experience required in packaged foods, not bulk commodity

- Preferred experience in snack foods.

- Any undergraduate degree

- Experience : 7+ years in Sales

DIMENSIONS OF THIS ROLE :

1) Accountable for achieving budgeted sales volumes, prices and profit margin and managing sales orders for institutional customers

2) Own pricing strategy based on market potential, consumer insights, margins, competitive signals, etc

3) On boarding and maintaining relationships with Hotels, F&B companies, restaurants, catering, institutional outlets, travel, etc to ensure seamless transactions, and satisfactory customer service

4) Analyzing the current trends in the market by doing intensive research and networking and finding novel ways to sell Flavored olives via different channels

5) Research customer behaviour, develop customer insights, participate in the sales planning exercise

6) Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers to help with the future product pipeline

Skills Required: 

1)  Flexibility - restaurants, and institutional partners do not always operate on 9-to-5 schedules

2)  Outgoing and self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure

3) Proactive and able to lead independent projects with an ability to think out of the box

4) Experience working in a matrix and highly collaborative team orientated environment

5) Excellent oral and written communication skills

6) Fluent in English and Hindi, both written and spoken

7) Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to interact and collaborate successfully with all levels and functional areas
