Job Summary:
The Manager - Inside Sales will lead and drive the inside sales team to achieve revenue targets in the fast-paced Study abroad industry. This role involves developing sales strategies, coaching team members, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and maximize customer acquisition. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record in managing high-performing sales teams, preferably in the education or technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of inside sales executives.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a high-energy, results-oriented culture.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor team performance metrics and optimize the sales process for maximum efficiency.
- Identify new sales opportunities and ensure effective pipeline management.
3. Customer Engagement:
- Oversee the team's outreach efforts, including phone calls, emails, and virtual presentations, to build strong customer relationships.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales cycle.
4. Process Optimization:
- Analyse sales workflows and implement improvements to enhance conversion rates and reduce response times.
- Ensure the effective use of CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
5. Market Insights and Feedback:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to align offerings with market demand.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to identify challenges, track progress, and recommend actionable solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the Study abroad or technology industry.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
