Manager/Head - Business Development - CSR Projects (4-9 yrs)

Job Responsibilities :
- To ensure that the financial resources are made available as required for smooth functioning of the programs of the Company and the Trust - Shikshavriksh Foundation-
- Manage the Economic Empowerment portfolio including research, pipeline development, proposal co-creation, monitoring & evaluation and impact assessment. Investments will be in the areas of skills development, income generation, and entrepreneurship with a focus on tech-led programs.
- Build partnerships with other funders. Own the long-term portfolio strategy. Provide operational and programmatic tracking and reporting.
- Own Internal & external communications on the portfolio.
- Provide operational and programmatic support as needed for new initiatives under the CSR investments portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal functions and external organizations as required.
- Assist CSR team in planning, strategizing and strengthening its CSR portfolio by sourcing and evaluating new collaboration opportunities with credible organizations and service providers.
- Conduct due diligence on potential partner organizations as per the assessment framework developed by the Company to onboard new CSR partners / implementing agencies.
- Provide extensive project management support to implementing agencies to achieve project objectives outlined in the MoU to ensure compliance.
- Co-design project frameworks and monitoring mechanism to achieve project objectives as set out in the Grant Agreement, and optimize project outcomes through innovative thinking and cross-collaborations.
- Track project progress through frequent review calls, field visits, interaction with different stakeholder groups, project staff, verification of all project documents.
- Operate from partner s office in the initial phase of the implementation until the processes are laid out, project staff is on boarded and an annual workflow has been chalked out.
- Ensure thorough documentation on all projects by organizing and maintaining project data collated through periodic reports, field visits and ongoing interactions with the project team.
- Identify and roll out outcome-oriented volunteering opportunities with implementing agencies and other credible organizations for the employees of our Company.
- Co-ordinate with business teams and other functional units to drive CSR initiatives curated by the Company.
- Contribute in developing content for communicating CSR updates to internal and external stakeholders through various social media platforms, including company s website.
- Adequate knowledge on social issues in Indian context and support schemes rolled out by the Central / State governments.
CORE Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the fundraising efforts of the Trust in terms of strategy, action plans and implementation to secure the annual fundraising targets.
- Responsible for managing the donor relations & strategic fundraising partnerships.
- Responsible for managing community outreach activities like corporate employee engagement; Individual CSR activities and any other events organised in the local community
- To lead and manage all other tasks & activities connected to the role as required from time to time.
- Ensuring that the executives meet the hourly/daily/monthly targets and sending reports to the manager on the targets achieved.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a high empathy, high EQ leader.
- Self-starter, influencer, and excellent communicator.
- Relevant experience in grant-making / impact investing.
- Strong understanding of the impact and potential of tech in the social sector.
- Exposure and experience in the venture philanthropy / impact investment models.
- Experience working closely with the public sector is a plus.
- Experience working in a corporate environment with a proven ability to navigate the complex relationships between social, technical, programmatic, and legal / regulatory requirements would be preferred.
- An articulate and effective communicator, able to influence at different levels.
- Ability to work autonomously, make independent decisions, with strong accountability and responsibility.
- Excellent verbal communication, telephone etiquette, fluency in English and the regional language, selling and telemarketing skills, persuasive skills, listening skills.
- Good Leadership / Supervisory Skills.
- Service orientation.
- Good Computer & Internet knowledge.
