Manager - Government Sales - IT - West (5-8 yrs)
Government Sales Manager - West (Mumbai), South (Bengaluru)
Responsibilities:
- Managing regional Government sales by developing/executing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls.
- Meeting planned sales targets.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
- The ongoing training of your salespeople.
- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
- Promoting the organization and products.
- Understand our ideal/key customers and how they relate to our products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies in Government.
- Experience in Government relationship management.
- Minimum 5 year experience in Sales in Government
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to providing great customer service.
- Ability to lead a Government sales team
- Preferably from the GIS/Location/Software/API Industry
