Manager - General Trade & Modern Trade - FMCG (5-8 yrs)
- Drive sales and market share growth for our Dairy products across assigned regions in General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores); grow the GT and MT distributor networks
- Achieve sales targets and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to all retailers and trade -partners.
- Develop and execute strategies for new customer acquisition, market penetration, and product placement.
- Monitor & analyze competitor activity and adjust strategies to outperform competitors.
- Ensure proper merchandising of products in retail outlets,implementing POS (Point of Sale) materials and visibility initiatives.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
- Track sales performance, manage account budgets, and prepare sales reports for senior management.
- Ensure efficient distribution and supply chain management within the region, collaborating with logistics and warehouse teams to avoid stock outs and delays.
- Train & support the sales team and distributors to maximize sales potential.
- Implement promotional activities and schemes in collaboration with the marketing team to boost sales during key seasons or events.
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues related to product quality or service.
- Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays as required for trade events or customer needs
