Overview:

We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Field Sales Manager focused on selling innovative cloud-native technology solutions, including modernization, analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI, specifically within India's vibrant startup ecosystem. Role Description:


In this role, you'll independently identify and engage promising startups, execute strategic go-to-market plans, and build meaningful relationships across the AWS startup ecosystem. You'll work closely with internal pre-sales and solutions teams to position and propose cloud-native solutions effectively, driving significant customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, prospect, and generate qualified pipeline opportunities independently and through collaboration with the AWS startup ecosystem.

- Conduct comprehensive discovery meetings to qualify potential opportunities, aligning customer needs with our cloud-native solutions.

- Collaborate closely with the pre-sales team to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations.

- Lead end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure.

- Build and nurture strong relationships within the startup community, including founders, CTOs, venture capitalists, accelerators, and AWS representatives.

- Stay informed about emerging trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics within cloud modernization, analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI.

- Maintain accurate CRM updates, track sales metrics, and regularly report performance and pipeline status to leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 3-6 years of proven experience in technology field sales, ideally in cloud solutions, analytics, AI/ML, or digital transformation.

- Prior experience selling technology solutions directly to startups or growth-stage companies.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage end-to-end sales cycles with strong results.

- Familiarity and understanding of AWS ecosystem and cloud-native architectures are highly preferred.

- Excellent relationship-building skills, along with exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to customer sites, industry events, and partner meetings.
