Manager - Export Sales - Food (3-13 yrs)
Designation: Export Manager
Industry : Food Industry (Processed Food Industry, Preferably from Organic Food exporting companies - branded food products to be given preference over bulk)
Qualification:
UG : Any Graduate in Any Specialization
PG : Post Graduation in Marketing /International marketing will be an advantage
but not essential.
Experience: 3 - 6 yrs in similar job role in Food Industry
Salary: upto 7 LPA
Job Location : Mumbai
Responsibilities :
Business Development and Marketing related responsibilities
- Lead Generation, Follow-ups
- Contacting Potential clients, sending business proposals, quotations
- Coordinating with management, factory team and dispatch department
- Ensure timely payment collection and account reconciliation with customers
- Open new export geographies and Design and implement all export strategies
- Plan and participation in trade shows for additional business volumes
- Update knowledge regarding various international and domestic trade policies,procedures, licenses, duty tariffs, trade benefits, certifications,inspections, special requirements etc and ensure 100% compliance
- Monitor all Exports related transactions, review all customer response regarding orders, payments and resolve all customer issues.
Documentation and Logistics related responsibilities:
- Ensure that shipments are in compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Ensure maintenance of detailed documentation about sales orders invoices and reports on all related activities
- Should have experience in Pre- shipment/ Post Shipment / Coordination with Customs / LC related work/ MIS related to Export.
- Should assist logistics team with Export documentations (BL/Packing List / Invoices / Certificate of Origin Etc.) Process and review export L/C.
- Dealing with Banks for the Export documents related issues, payments issues, handling Exchange control requirements etc.
Skill Set :
- The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in developing International sales as well as export documentation.
- Good contact base in various countries of Distributors, Buyers and Chain Stores
- Ability to handle overseas Buyers, CHA & Transporters independently.
- Experience in Pre-& Post Export Documentation.
- Extremely proficient in verbal and written English
- Well versed in MS Office
