Manager - Export Sales - Coating Business (8-12 yrs)
We need Export Sales Manager for our International business division specialty coating ( Finished Product High performance coating Only) at Mumbai.
This is Individual position & candidate must have distribution system experience in coating industry at MENA Region. This need extensive travel.
Reporting to : CEO
Education : Post Graduation/Graduation in Marketing with additional courses/ or training in EXIM/ International Trade.
Experience : 8-10 years- experience in Export Management & Sales in a large/medium sized manufacturing company. Experience in performance based chemicals segment is preferred.
Experience in
1. High Performance coating
2. Waterproofing Coating
3. Handled construction industry / Metal/Automotive on International Business development.
4. Experience in Distribution System of specialty coating handled in MENA Region preferred

Primary Responsibility of the position :
- To develop a strong global network for business development in order to help the company achieve its objective of being the preferred supplier and solution provider viz-a-viz specialty coatings for all prestigious projects across the globe.
- The export manager will serve as an intermediary between foreign buyers and the company .
Following is the criteria :
Age : 29-38 years, Based in Mumbai.
- Self-Starter, Articulate, Analytical mind, Methodical, Good Communicator, Good contacts in the Chemistry industry.
Educational Qualification :
- Basic : BSc/MSc/Dip Chemical Engineering/Chemical Engineer
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management/ Import Export Management & SAP Knowledge
Years in Experience & Nature of Experience :
- 5-8 years as Assistant Manager Level. Hands on experience in direct sales to end use customer, trade in International Trade/ Sales forecasting, budgeting and MIS/ Product Development/ MIS reporting/ Handling Sales coordination for Import & Export trade which would involve follow up/ Feedback/ Coordination with customer and sourcing partners.
- Exposed to documentation of : High sea sales/ Sales on Bond transfer/Third country exports/ Domestic sales/Export sales from India/Registration formalities with excise/ FSSAI & FDA/ Customers, Excise & DGFT related matters.
- Worked in SAP environment preferably from Agro/ Pharma/ Dyes/ Rubber chemicals/ Specialty chemicals/ Petrochemicals/ Big renowned Chemical Trading houses.
- Capability to bring new partners to our organisation.
Job Responsibilities :
- Achieving Sales Targets, Sales Forecasting, Budgeting & MIS/ Identifying and developing new molecules for trading business/ Coordinating with Customer & sourcing Partners for Export & Import documentation/ Coordinating with Statutory requirements wherever required ( FSSAI/FDA/ Customers/ Excise & DGFT/ Follow up for payment/ Reconciliation of accounts/ Coordination for Returning of rejected materials/ Coordination with plant personnel/ Tollers for material.

- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Relationship skills i.e. the ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders, suppliers, customers & colleagues.
- The candidate must possess excellent Negotiation Skills i. e. the ability to persuade, influence and explore alternatives to reach outcomes that will meet the organization's strategic objectives.
- Analytical Skills-the ability to make decisions on the basis of all available information. This will be particularly important in the selection of the dealers and establishing sales network/s.
- Fluent in English (Verbal & Written).The ability to communicate in a foreign language relevant to the company's targeted markets will be appreciated.
- Understanding of international trade and market demands
- High level of computer proficiency i.e. use of internet and various relevant applications like MS-Office, Excel etc. The candidate must display the capacity to learn the needed technology as per demands of the organization.
- Ability to work individually and in teams.
