Manager - Export Sales (5-12 yrs)
Job Description:
- Identify the clients from the internet, directories and the other networking sources and generate leads. Contact the potential clients/leads by various communication modes and convert them into sales.
- Promotion and brand building on social sites like LinkedIn.
- Monitoring the International trade exhibitions and advise management in participating in international Trade Exhibitions and handle the entire operations and sales enquires. Make a data bank of enquiries and communicate them about their new requirements.
- Create and grade Clients in the financial range of A/B/C and ensure there is a planned and schedule customer connect proactively.
- Focus on high potential clients in the location and engage with the client continuously till the finalization of their need and delivery.
- Ensures regular connect with the customer looking at their key buying influence (KBI) and also gets insight into what is happening in the industry
- Handling Customer Schedules & ensuring on time dispatches. Preparing and Executing Sales & Distribution Plan.
- Ensure that all customer invoices are processed, planned in a timely manner. Follows up on Sales outstanding to ensure closure
- Work with the Accounts department to ensure payments come in before the credit period. Ensure there are no delays in payment in the planned credit limit and credit period
- Regularly update the Director Sales regarding the progress in terms on billing /orders
- Attending Customers (individuals/ corporate customers) concerns & complaints and undertaking steps for effective resolving them.
- Interacting with the customers to gather their feedback regarding the products utilities.
- Maintaining cordial relations with services team for speedy response to customer's complaint to sustain the profitability of the business
- Keep Close watch on competitor's activities & marketing trends in international market.
- Conduct an internal planning for production and delivery of all client requirements.
- Continuously interact with the Sales team to work towards better customer satisfaction
- Ensures submission of a daily reports covering daily meetings, visits, list of complaints and complaint summary
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
- Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
- Training staff to deliver a high standard of customer service, leading or supervising a team of customer service staff
Competencies Required :
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, Convincing Skills, Negotiation skills, Problem Solving abilities
- Good understanding of the Export Sales, International Business Development, Participating in international Trade Exhibitions, Lead Generation & conversion, Customer Handling, SPOC, get it done approach.
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA In Agriculture Business / International Business
- Preferably from reputed University
- 8 - 10 years of experience (Preferably agriculture Industry/ Food Industry)
