Gist of the role : It is a field job but as the office is not open in the above locations it will be Work from home. Role involves lead generation by calling travel agents doing offline sales and going for meetings on the field. A minimum 2 years experience is required.
Job Description :
1. Overview :
As a Hotel Sales Person, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the hotel. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the sales process, ensuring seamless communication between the sales team, clients, and other departments within the hotel. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the overall success of the hotel by assisting in generating revenue through effective sales coordination.
2. Key Responsibilities :
a. Sales Support :
- Assist the sales team in creating and maintaining sales proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents.
- Provide administrative support to the sales department, including data entry, filing, and maintaining client databases.
b. Customer Relations :
- Act as a liaison between clients and the sales team, addressing inquiries, and providing information about the hotel's services and amenities.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive customer experience.
c. Event Coordination :
- Collaborate with clients to coordinate events, meetings, and conferences hosted at the hotel.
- Work closely with other hotel departments (catering, banquet, and reservations) to ensure seamless event execution.
d. Communication :
- Maintain open and effective communication channels between the sales team, management, and other relevant departments.
- Communicate promotional offers, packages, and updates to potential and existing clients.
e. Market Research :
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends, providing valuable insights to the sales team.
- Assist in analyzing competitors and industry trends to enhance the hotel's sales strategies.
f. Reporting :
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends to aid in decision-making.
- Provide feedback to the sales team on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and sales initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a sales coordination or administrative role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using office software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a customer-centric focus.
