Manager/Executive/Officer - Sales - FMCG (1-8 yrs)
Primary Responsibility: The position will be responsible for driving offtakes and ensuring execution for a region (depending on requirement - to be modified) in alignment with company objectives for the various brands launched
Roles & Responsibility :
- Design and execute distribution strategy in the Non-BA Channel for the region to generate sales
- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network in the Non-BA channel to ensure service levels are maintained across the area to achieve or exceed the sales targets
- Responsible for new store openings and new business initiatives
- Manage distributor and retailer relationships. Develop a close relationship with all their major accounts to grow business organically
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities to increase sales in the area
- Ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained in every store to provide superior levels of service and meet the needs of the customer
- Ensure the right calibre of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements. Ensure that the staff is well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organisation
- Overseeing the activities and performance of store sales team
- Develop activation strategies and on-ground execution to drive offtakes/ tertiary sales
- Designing the growth plan (quarter and annual) of the territory and monitoring the same
- Prepare regular reports on store/area sales, performance, achievement vs target, competition data for presentation and analysis to senior management
