Manager/Executive - Business Development - Sales - Freight Forwarding (1-20 yrs)
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager/Executive - Sales Freight Forwarding located in Chennai & Bangalore. The role involves day-to-day tasks associated with business development and sales in the freight forwarding industry. The Business Development Manager/Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business development and sales
- Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and international logistics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Identifying prospective Customers, Business Opportunities, Assessing Customer needs in terms of promoting our Liner Services primarily for Special Containers i.e FR & OT.
- Follow-up with the Clients for Bookings on proposals and quotes offered & convert inquires to firm bookings.
- Provide Post-Sales support to all Existing and New Clients.
- Outstanding Execution of Sales Strategies consistently across the assigned Zone.
