Role Overview:
The B2B Sales Manager (New Business Development) will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the packaging solutions space.
This is a hunter role, requiring a highly motivated and results- driven professional who can strategically prospect, engage decision-makers, and convert high-value clients in industries like e-commerce, FMCG, logistics, manufacturing, and retail.
The candidate will play a key role in expanding company footprint by driving revenue growth, establishing new customer relationships, and positioning company tech-enabled B2B packaging solutions as the preferred choice for enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition (Hunter Role)
- Identify and target high-potential B2B clients across diverse industries.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and key decision- makers.
- Create customized sales pitches and proposals to win new accounts.
2. Solution Selling & Consultative Sales Approach
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and procurement challenges.
- Propose tailored packaging solutions that align with client operations and supply chain requirements.
- Educate prospects on company tech-driven capabilities such as vendor consolidation, JIT deliveries, and cost optimization.
3. Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from first contact to contract signing.
- Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and agreement structuring with prospective clients.
- Work with internal teams (procurement, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution.
4. Strategic Market Expansion
- Identify and penetrate new geographical regions with high potential.
- Develop sales strategies and market entry plans for untapped customer segments.
- Partner with marketing to design demand-generation campaigns and targeted outreach.
5. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM tools.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on pipeline status, key deals, and market trends.
