Manager - Direct Sales - Gems & Jewellery (7-18 yrs)
Your Roles & Responsibilities :
Financial :
- Budgeting: Provides inputs pertaining to sales performance, manpower requirements, market competition, sales projections as an input to AOP
- Estimates marketing budget for the assigned cluster as an input to AOP including promotions/sales manpower/ broker commissions
- Recommends allocations from budget
- Sales Planning: Creates and recommends a sales strategy for achievement of assigned sales targets e.g launch plan for new project
- Ensures achievement of sales as per AOP & monthly/quarter plans
- Closes sales bookings with customers
- Proposes schemes to reduce slow moving inventory / facilitate fast movement of inventory
- Drive new sales through loyalty/ referral/corporate sales channels
Operational :
- Channel Partners: Meets & monitors channel partners, screens potential partners & communicates company terms and conditions
- Assigns sales targets to team
- Tracks the Sales Inventory
- Setting Channel Distribution & Driving Channel Business
- Interacts with customers in converting potential leads and negotiates with customers
- Lead Generation: Generate and manage leads & lead management
- Explores new opportunities in corporate sales in the region
- Sales Admin: Ensures management of all aspects of after-sales relationship with customers, systemic input & management of data
- Ensure site experience as per Brand norms
People :
- Defines and sets work objectives for team members
- Balances work allocation in team
- Reviews tasks completed by team members and conduct regular performance reviews
- Completes performance appraisals of team
- Carries out team building & engagement activities
Process Adherence & Improvement :
- Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
- Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
- Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area
- Complies with company defined guidelines and processes
Position Requirements :
Qualification :
- Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing will be preferred from BA (Tier 2) in Marketing & Sales, 6-10 years relevant experience in sales in real estate/ construction industry
Experience :
- 6-10 years relevant experience in sales in real estate/ construction industry will be preferred

- Market knowledge : Strong understanding of real estate and micro market
- Product understanding : Deep understanding of real estate as a product and ability to do customer gap analysis and suggest product modification/differentiation to address those, competition benchmarking
- Customer insights: Ability to understand customer insights and provide inputs to customer.
- Marketing : Ability to understand various marketing medias and their impact
- Channel partner management : Ability to develop new channel of sales and enhance existing channel of sales
- Sales Strategy : Analytical bent of mind with deep focus on sales analytics to make effective decision
