Manager - Digital Marketing - Education (5-6 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced Manager - Digital Marketing and Online Sales to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing and sales efforts.

- The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Sell Online Advertising Solutions to the educational Institutes/training agencies/ B2B Marketing & Advertisement Sales.

- Expertise in Ad Words and related Internet services to help in multiple functions including sales, software downloads as well as other related activities.

- Create Email/SMS marketing campaigns to promote products or services. To execute email campaign/sms campaigns with emphasis on significant growth and conversion. Help to create and test new email/sms marketing templates and direct marketing communications.

- Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.) Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to help in a product awareness and brand buildup.

- Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels

- Actively get involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)

- Will be responsible for generating Ad sales revenue by developing online /mobile advertising opportunities.

- Help create a strategy and execution plan for acquisition of new clients in line with the overall organizational objectives.

- Monitoring the performance of campaigns and other marketing efforts, evaluating them and taking proper measures to improve the performance.

- Take complete ownership of the digital sales process, forecast sales for specific periods and generate the targeted revenues.

- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update our website.

- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)

- Other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

- Willingness to work in a Startup and Dynamic Structure.

- Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role

- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices

- Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM

- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)

- Perfect knowledge of web and other analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)

- Skills and experience in creative content writing

- Analytical mindset and critical thinking

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrate keen interest in new technologies and skills and show a penchant for learning them.

- A perfect team player and work in tandem with the sales person to help plan strategies aimed at generating revenues.

- Preferred Qualification: MBA, PGDBA, BBA with additional certifications in digital marketing or B Tech graduates. Experience of having worked in companies related to education will be a plus factor.

Experience : Minimum 5 years.

Place of Work: Chandigarh

Remuneration: 20k to 25k per month
