Manager - Creative Strategy - Digital Branded Content (6-9 yrs)
Looking for a Manager - Creative Strategy to work at the intersection of digital branded content and influencer marketing solutions. We create content that impacts pop-culture while driving positive results for brands and their consumers.
You will be hands-on responsible for conceptualisation, development and execution of disruptive digital marketing campaigns and pitches. Owning brand pitch presentations, being the creative point person on pitches, while collaborating with the strategic planner and other campaign team members. You must also be able to operate autonomously as required while maintaining creative integrity.
The role requires the ability to explain, present, sell and defend your ideas, while remaining open to feedback and constructive criticism. This role is for you if you have a passion for ideas and using consumer insights to create bigger, better, and bolder ideas.
Key responsibilities :
- Translate brand brief and strategy into inspiring creative ideas to kick off and drive campaigns and pitches
- Build branded content concepts based on insight derived from an in-depth understanding of the brand, consumers- feelings, attitudes and behaviours, and cultural trends.
- Work with the strategy and campaign management teams to think through the ask, the brief, the insight, the approach.
- Effectively plan creative solutions all through - conceptualizing, writing and managing campaign output
- Solutions and ideas offered for campaigns and pitches should be fact-filled, active and engaging to ensure that the client's needs are met.
- Creatively involved in end-to-end coordination and execution with third party like director, producer and vendors
- Suggest the most effective platform for the content concept and brand messaging to reach and impact the target audience
- Proactively suggest content properties/ideas for topical and cultural moments and new social platform features/releases
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with campaign and strategy team, maintaining creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives
Skills :
- Should be adept at creative writing/ copy writing
- Creativity, attention to detail, adaptability and marketing knowledge are required.
- Ability to drive creative direction and vision for multiple projects simultaneously
- Should have been involved in all the stages of video content development - (Concept development, production, Influencer concept 1nalisation, shoot, post-production).
- Should be well adept with global & Indian trends, formats and developments in branded content.
- You love entertainment and consume ridiculous amounts of content
- Should have an understanding of marketing, social and media analytics to shape & optimize content based on performance and learnings.
- Very high awareness of pop-culture both on and oI digital, and also remain aware of the broader zeitgeist.
- Con1dent in developing and executing disruptive ideas for the brand.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments to create something great
- Resourceful and nimble thinking without dependence on big budgets or stacked staffing for projects.
- Proven experience in building insight-driven solutions for brands across categories.
- Should have developed concepts into compelling and detailed presentations
Qualifications and Prior Experience :
- At least 6 years of experience in building creative digital branded content campaigns at a publisher, agency or media house
- Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile
- Proven experience with concept development including long form Content
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
- Track record of creating ideas for global or large regional brands. Previous work experience on alcohol brands is a plus
- Expertise in social best practice across all platforms.
- Have deep knowledge in running a 360-campaign, from strategy development to tactical execution (including AV/trailers, digital/social, OTT)
