Manager - Corporate Sales - Business Strategy - Hospitality (3-6 yrs)
Job purpose
A corporate sales manager plays a key role in the success and failure of an organization. He/ She plays a pivotal role in achieving the sales targets and eventually generates revenue for the organization.
Duties and responsibilities
- Generate leads for business through market news, networking and personal references, social networking sites like FB, linked-in, and client referrals as an extension of the marketing team's efforts
- In charge of selling all products / services of through direct sales (Corporate presentations).
- Responsible for corporate account management - acquisition, revenue generation and retention.
- Maintaining a healthy business relationship with all acquired accounts and periodically measure customer satisfaction.
- As a sales manager devises strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets. He / She is the one who decides the future course of action
- Inform and provide the marketing team with market news and information that may potentially be prospects for products / services
- Should maintain necessary data and records of all contacts made (converted and lost clients). The details have to be added to the database and periodically updated when necessary.
- Closely work with operations team for every services, ensure there is no gap between what was proposed and what is delivered.
- Service as a first point escalation for all service issues that are flagged by the customer.
- Complete closure of every service initiated by ensuring that invoices are raised for the services delivered and follow-up for payment.
- Identifying new markets and collating competitor information
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A bachelor's degree with 3 - 6 years experience in similar or hospitality industry.
- Good English communication skill
- Ability to plan and prioritize the work.
- Ability to use spreadsheets and power point presentation.
- Ability to manage challenges and conflicts within the team.
- Skill in email writing, letters, proposals and presentation.
Working Hours :
It is a full time requirement from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. May require working on weekends / extended office hours as per the client / Organization requirement.
