Profile:
Sales Manager - Corporate and Broker Relations
Purpose:
- To achieve the budgeted sales target for the Corporate, Proprietary & Government bodies (large/medium/small) at the office level.
- To achieve the budgeted sales target for the broker relations vertical at the office level. Location: Operating Office
Reporting to:
Office Manager
Span of Control (Nos of Reportees ): Nil
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new corporate clients.
- Mapping of new / existing brokers within the branch catchment area.
- Develop and maintain a relationship with new/existing corporate and govt. bodies (large/medium/small) and brokers
- Achieve premium targets through Direct Sales in Corporate, Government & SME Segment.
- Generates maximum quote inquiries from the brokers for corporate/retail business
- Service the corporate in terms of quote presentations, policy deliverance, and post policy issuance services within the agreed TAT.
- Service the brokers in terms of quote presentations, policy deliverance, post policy issuance services and broker remuneration within the agreed TAT.
- Identifying retail driven broker and tying up with them. o Ensure effective manning of outsourced sales staff to service retail brokers. o Adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Troubleshooting with :
- Underwriting team for policy approval.
- Office operations team for policy issuance.
- Claims Team for Claims settlement
- Finance team for timely disbursement.

Qualification and Experience :
- Preferably MBA / Graduate with 1 - 5 years experience in corporate and institutional sales, experience in general insurance industry would be an added advantage.
