Manager - Content Management - Online Media (2-5 yrs)
Position : Online Media Content Manager
Experience : 2-3 years of managing media content.
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or related area.
Exemplary writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills
Experience in creating and managing content for media heavily preferred
Experience with other social media content management systems and social media platforms, e-mail management, and analytics systems
Strong project management skills
Attention to detail and experience with self-editing and fact-checking of content
Good Experience with Microsoft Word,
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML will be helpful
Job Responsibilities:
Manage Online Content :
Research, create, and implement a digital content marketing strategy
Research, recommend, and implement site-wide policies and best practices and communicate these to content creators and stakeholders.
Manage the development and delivery of digital content and architecture.
Conceptualize and produce new content serving the mission of the organization.
Advise departments on planning, architecture, and design of existing and new web projects.
Manage project benchmarks and schedules.
Review overall website content, make recommendations for consistency of style and information.
Managing Website and Social Media :
Manage web support and development; manage external contractors:
Write tickets for web support, bug fixing, and feature development.
Manage web support schedule by prioritizing tickets in monthly milestones
Rigorously test bug fixes and web updates and perform periodic site-wide testing
Monitor and edit web content to improve search-engine optimization as per guidance from SEO
Analytics and Continuous Improvement :
Utilize analytics, including user experience and user-centered design methods, content inventories, gap analyses, user research, and usability testing to recommend and implement improvements to digital strategy and content.
Work with the Executive Director and the communications and outreach team, manage marketing campaigns for special exhibitions, events and programs, including a mix of email marketing, digital marketing, and social media marketing:
Campaigns & Mailers :
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and graphic designers on campaign look and feel
Lead the organization's email marketing, including updating email and e-newsletter templates
Update, organize, and maintain segmented email lists for distributions.
