Job Description:

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of agents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth:

- Achieve and exceed annual Gross Written Premium (GWP) targets.

- Drive sustainable profitability through effective sales strategies.

Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of agents.

- Coach and mentor agents to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.

- Monitor agent performance and provide regular feedback.

Channel Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.

- Collaborate with agency partners to develop joint business plans.

- Ensure timely and accurate commission payments to agents.

Compliance:

- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including IRDA guidelines.

- Ensure quality and compliance of all insurance applications.

Customer Service:

- Provide support and guidance to agents on policy services and customer queries.

- Promote excellent customer service standards.

Criteria -

- Bachelor's degree / PG

- 1+ years of experience in Sales (insurance sales preferred)

- 2+ years of experience in leading a team in retail sales

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets

- Strong understanding of insurance products and regulations
