Manager - Channel Sales - FMCG & Hospitality (2-4 yrs)

- As the Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales performance of the General Trade Channel and for driving primary and secondary sales in Delhi and UP region.
What you will do:
- Driving, tracking, managing and reporting Primary and Secondary sales in the territory
- Owning responsibility for all promotional activities in the territory
- Preparing comprehensive business plans and breakdown of primary and secondary targets for the team
- Managing distributors and super distributors, right from their appointment to their ongoing coordination, business relationship and sales performance
- Managing whole sellers/ SRO/ large traders
- Developing strong analytical, tactical and organizational skills for channel partners
- Driving profitability for channel partners through focused initiatives in distribution and market servicing
- Distributor Appointment and Management and Credit Management
- Monitoring competitor activities and devising effective countermeasures
- Establishing comprehensive geographic coverage for the territory
- Creating new potential retailer points for the company
What you need to have:
- Demonstrable industry experience of 2 to 4 years in General Trade - Retail and Wholesale Market
- Prior experience in working with FMCG background (confectionery, snacks, tobacco, packaged beverages etc.) will be preferred
- Strong knowledge about distribution set up and excellent distributor relationship
- Ability to track and report using Excel
- Excellent team handling capabilities
- Efficient planning and execution skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
