Manager - Channel Sales - Electrical/Electronics Product (5-15 yrs)
Purpose of the Job :
- The role will include supporting the company's ongoing sales and growth opportunities by providing channel sales support to a region or portfolio of assigned partners or customers. The eligible candidate will also be required to work with the pre-sales team to understand the customer requirement & suggest them the right solutions from Optoma's Product portfolio.
Job Description :
- Channel development and channel management as per the product lineup.
- Executing channel strategy, partner acquisition and revenue generated from the respective channel.
- Executing short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to build mindshare and influence adoption across OnShift's portfolio of strategic business partners.
- Evaluate current product and recommend product upgrade wherever necessary to scale-up channel.
- Monitor and guide team performance to goals while inspiring success.
- Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them.
- Work with senior management to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies.
- Drive campaign activity in partnership with marketing and industry sellers.
- Monitor sales and analyse performance trends to identify issues and opportunities.
- Drive relationships within partner organisations at all levels and role profiles.
- Collaborate internally, as well as engage strategically, with external stakeholders to acquire new clients.
- Build strong business relationships with key customers and ensures a link between company objectives and customer objectives.
- Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to grow sustainable business results.
Key Responsibility Area :
- Proactively recruits new qualifying partners.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts/territories.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Proactively lead the joint partner planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through partner organisations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
- Achieve assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts.
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
- Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
- Manages funnel, forecast, and sales opportunities to meet company standards.
- Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
