Manager - Business Development - Solar Rooftop (3-5 yrs)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive - Solar Rooftop to drive lead generation and successfully close monthly solar projects of at least 1MW. The ideal candidate should have strong sales acumen, relationship-building skills, and expertise in solar rooftop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Closure
- Identify potential customers and generate high-quality leads.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve a monthly sales target of 1MW.
- Build relationships with commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
- Follow up with leads, present proposals, and close deals.
Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement business development strategies.
- Work on market penetration strategies to increase solar adoption.
- Represent the company in networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and monitor sales performance against targets.
- Maintain a database of potential and closed leads.
- Prepare and present sales reports to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Required Experience:
- 2-4 Year of relevant experience in project coordination, logistics, or administration.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications:
- Not mandatory but certifications in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Logistics would be a plus.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain coordination.
- Ability to manage and organize data efficiently.
Nice to Have Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP software or logistics management tools.
- Understanding of solar industry logistics and field operations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
