Manager - Business Development - Social & Video Advertising Platform (10-12 yrs)
We are currently retained by a leading international organization that has a social and video advertising platform. Our client is a multi-channel technology company specializing in helping some of the world's most valuable brands and agencies acquire consumers and maximize their lifetime value, providing the best ROI from their digital marketing spend, at scale.
There are a few roles open both into client servicing as well as business development. As discussed the title and exact role will depend on the person and they are open to hiring people at various levels. It will be a great opportunity to join the company and take your career to the next level
Responsibility :
New Business Development : Surgically develop and manage a highly appropriate pipeline of direct advertiser prospects, involving significant of research, decision maker mapping, relationship building and bringing the customer through the entire sales cycle.
Negotiating contract terms: Develop an acute understanding of the terms that are crucial to win business and build a strategy that is aligned on KPI's and the success of the partnership.
Educating marketers on the role and impact of specialist consultancy and technology: This will be achieved through client meetings, workshops, industry events, etc.
Social and Video Industry Knowledge: Staying on top of all best practices for ad creation and targeting. Understanding the competition and ever changing client goals within the social advertising industry.
Product Development Support : Coordination with the product team in order to inform product improvements and needs of marketing teams. These improvements could include reporting growth and data automation.
Networking : Attend key events and/or make speeches to generate leads, highest ROI social and video advertising platform.
Required Experience :
We expect the following experience and demonstrable skills :
- 10 years of working experience in sales and marketing
- Must have strong experience in and proven record of closing new business with direct advertisers
- Must have negotiated multiple long term partnership contract terms with a C-level customer
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Motivated to disrupt the current status of the traditional agency and advertiser ecosystem based on the evolving needs of marketing in today's world.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships in addition to excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- The ability to find solutions and deliver results with a rapid changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
- Able to work independently, effective time management skills, with the ability to manage numerous accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to support department staff members, managers and establish collaborative relationships with peers.
