Manager - Business Development - Salesforce (7-10 yrs)
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesforce Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce and a proven track record in business development. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within our Salesforce practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development :
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients for Salesforce services, leveraging company' reputation and expertise.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with Company's growth objectives in the Salesforce domain.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to identify opportunities for business expansion.
2. Client Engagement :
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Understand client pain points and objectives to propose customized Salesforce solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
3. Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Collaborate with company's technical and marketing teams to create compelling sales pitches and proposals.
- Drive sales initiatives and campaigns that promote company's Salesforce offerings, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the Salesforce practice.
4. Partnership & Networking :
- Work closely with Salesforce and other strategic partners to identify joint business opportunities.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company's market presence.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and industry knowledge.
5. Reporting & Analysis :
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets in line with company expectations.
- Continuously analyze sales processes and strategies, recommending improvements as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on Salesforce solutions.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce products, solutions, and the broader CRM market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Consultant, etc.) is a plus.
