Manager - Business Development & Sales - Resort (1-4 yrs)
Job Description:
Experience in Business Development and client servicing, Sales planning and implementation as per set objectives, tracking latest trends, competitor & market analysis, preparing and executing event strategies for our Clients. Ability to plan personal work schedule, prioritizing work tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with top management to manage all sales activities of the resort and meet revenue objectives.
- Identifies and seeks out potential business in local market. Build vendor/supplier relations.
- Work on themes and ideation. Work and Pitch through concept and presentations.
- Maintains relationship with corporates and key people to retain repeated revenue.
- Networking with prospective clients, generating business from the existing accounts and achieving profitability & increased sales growth.
- Co-ordinates and implements sales and marketing activities of the Resort.
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
- Coordinate details of events such as conferences, birthdays, weddings, corporate events etc.
- Responsible for maximizing Resort's revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation, meeting and leisure facilities.
- Actively and consistently prospects and develops new sources of business for Resort through telephone and digital marketing and outside personal sales calls, successfully converting potential business opportunities to confirmed bookings.
- Responds in timely manner to ALL leads, Hotel Planner and other sources of potential business opportunities for the Resort.
- Prepares and distributes internal/external correspondence, contracts, group resumes, rooming lists, event schedules, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for securing completed direct bill applications, distribution of group credit information, and accurate adherence to group billing procedures.
- Distributes information to all departments regarding needs and requirements of groups, meetings and events taking place in the Resort.
- Completes weekly Productivity Report and daily MIS.
Candidate Requirements:
- Competent to drive the Sales & Marketing activities of the Resort.
- Exposure in generating new clients and maintain business for the Resort.
- Data analysis skills to ensure targets are met.
- Experience in customer service management
- Proven working experience in a resort is an added advantage.
- God Communication and convincing skills
