Hiring Business Manager for a company into Research and foundation
Role Description (Role - Business Development and Sales)
1. Raising awareness of company's products through customer visits
a. Identify and profile potential customer organizations (through secondary research)
b. Plan customer visits and associated material and content
c. Conduct customer visits as part of a team
d. Interact with customers and maintain communication on behalf of the company with the focus of raising awareness about the features and benefits of the company's products
2. Business development, sales and collections
a. Understand the requirements of the customers and identify the products that are of relevance and priority
b. Create product offers for customers including product scope, specifications and pricing
c. Interact with customers throughout the process of business development, till the consummation of product sales
d. Ensure collections of accounts receivables
3. Product installation support
a. Set up the research product in the customer organization by aligning with customer on: (i) research objectives, (ii) research respondents, (iii) research timing and milestone, (iv) technological and technical aspects of the research
b. Hand over the customer relationship to the Product Delivery team through joint interactions with relevant customer executives
4. Social media management and marketing
a. Develop content for social media based on guidance from Product Development team
b. Operate social media accounts with multiple touch points during the course of the day
c. Decide the goals of the company's social media activities, execute accordingly, and track progress of achievement of these goals
5. Maintain customer MIS
a. Maintain the database of customers including a record of interactions, transactions and feedback.
The desired profile of candidates applying for this role is as follows:
a. 26-30 years of age
b. MBA degree holder, with emphasis in Marketing
c. Sales experience of a few years; marketing experience is optional.
