Job Overview :
The BDM will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality recruitment solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by targeting key sectors and companies requiring recruitment and staffing services.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
-Present and promote the company's recruitment and staffing services to decision-makers, ensuring an understanding of our value proposition.
- Lead and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their HR and staffing needs.
- Provide strategic insights and consultative advice to clients on talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Monitor client performance, feedback, and satisfaction, and proactively address any issues or concerns.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of recruiters and sales professionals to achieve business development and sales goals.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams (recruitment, HR, and operations) to align on client needs, candidate sourcing, and delivery expectations.
- Monitor and manage team KPIs and sales performance to ensure targets are met.
Market Research & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and recruitment best practices.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand business opportunities and maintain market presence.
- Provide insights to the management team on market opportunities, competitor activity, and potential threats.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years specifically in recruitment, staffing, or HR-related services.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth in the recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, talent acquisition, and staffing processes.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Experience in managing and mentoring a sales or recruitment team.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to present and sell complex staffing solutions to C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to client relationships.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., HR, Staffing) are a plus.
