L - Business Development Manager

This is a very important role in the growth journey of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying viable business opportunities, evaluating them and also finalizing the commercial terms, which shall lay the foundation for multiple new projects that the company shall embark on.

Job responsibilities shall include :

1. Market research and identification of high potential zones for targeting new project ventures.

2. Interacting with channel partners, investors, landowners, smaller developers, towards identification of high potential projects for development.

3. Working with multiple functions & the management team on new acquisition opportunities - from identification until the final documentation.

4. Active participation in local events & engagements with the local business & landowner community, with the objective of spotting opportunities early.

5. Preparation and execution of management agreements, marketing agreements or joint development agreements between Century and the other entities/landlords/JD partners, in consultation and collaboration with the Century legal team.

6. Finding and developing new potential micro-markets for the company's business growth.

7. Provide decision support to the management by engaging in data analysis, risk/return analysis, research and market assessment activities for the projects being considered.

8. Monitor industry legislative developments, develop and implement strategic changes in order to maintain compliance and maximise business performance.

Qualifications & behavioural traits desired :

- 5-8 years in the Bangalore real estate space

- Good communication skills & a talent for negotiation

- Proficiency in MS Office tools and presentations.

- Good understanding of local laws, and legal terms used in documentation of project related agreements.

- Zeal for growth and making a mark in the real estate space
