Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Preferred Qualification: PG from NICMAR or similar reputed institutions (specialization in construction/project management or real estate preferred).
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, real estate, and related sectors.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as developers, contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and client needs.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client discussions, proposals, and negotiations.
- Address client concerns and ensure timely delivery of services.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by converting leads into long-term contracts.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, RFPs, and pitch decks to potential clients.
- Monitor project pipelines and ensure alignment with revenue objectives.
4. Marketing and Branding:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the company's services and capabilities.
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and networking forums.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies to enhance visibility and lead generation.
5. Operational Support:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handovers from business development to project execution.
- Provide feedback on client requirements to enhance service delivery.
- Track client satisfaction metrics and recommend process improvements.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain records of client interactions, sales reports, and market insights.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on business development activities and pipeline status.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and analyze business growth metrics.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the construction, real estate, or consultancy sectors.
- Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree from NICMAR or a similar institution preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting in the construction or real estate industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
