Manager - Business Development - Packaging/Logistics Firm (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Understand the target markets and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned.
- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry, and positioning
- Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
- Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
- Responsible for Existing and new client portfolio
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Building MIS & market intelligence about competitors, preparing geography-wise and service-wise sales plans and achieving them.
- Meeting quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
- Partner with the packaging design and supply chain functions to deliver best in class experiences to the customer.
Skills :
- Experience in sales and the technology field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- High-energy and self-motivated
- Resilient in tracking down leads
- Experienced with B2B Sales
- Meticulous, attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Experience : 5-10 years - Experience in packaging, distribution, logistics, and industrial automation is a plus.
Education : B.Sc./BE- Mechanicals/Packaging/MBA Marketing.
