Manager - Business Development - Oil & Gas (9-18 yrs)

Designation : Business development manager- OIL & GAS industry only

Job Description :

- Create a strong pipeline and order book with projects spanning oil refineries, gas terminals, petrochemical complexes, specialty chemicals facilities, and fertilizer units in India aligning with the organization's order booking plan.

- Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g volume, price, and mix) of sales vertical.

- Coordinate effectively with Industry veterans and consultants in creating a strong sales network.

- Research relevant organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

- Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

- Increase the wallet share of existing customers while building a new customer base

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the operations team in executing the projects smoothly.

- Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met

- Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments for the strategy and plans accordingly to meet changing markets and competitive landscapes.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

- 12+ years of Sales/BD experience in the Oil and Gas sector/petrochemicals/specialty chemicals/fertilizers handling clients across PSUs and private Industries.

- Ability to secure projects both in short term (without tendering such as back-to-back projects) and in long term (tendering through direct participation or JVs)

- Having great communication, negotiation, and convincing skills and ability to hustle.

- Experience to manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as tendering, estimations, and operations ensuring smooth flow of projects.

- Experience in connecting potential execution partners in the above-mentioned sectors and creating JVs with them.

- Ability to Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.

- Experience in bagging large-size EPC/LSTK / manufacturing projects
