Manager - Business Development - NGO (5-15 yrs)
As the Business Development Manager, you will lead our efforts to secure the necessary funding to drive and expand our charitable programs. This role is tailored for a forward-thinking leader skilled in CSR business development, capable of building strong connections and communicating our mission to donors and partners alike.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Business Development : Develop and implement a strategic business development plan that supports our mission to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs.
2. Donor Engagement : Manage all aspects of donor relations, from identifying potential donors to maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with current and prospective supporters.
3. Grant Management : Oversee our grant-seeking processes, including researching opportunities, writing proposals, ensuring compliance, and providing detailed reporting.
4. Database Management : Maintain an accurate and secure donor database to safeguard donor information.
5. Communication and Reporting : Create compelling fundraising materials and regularly communicate with donors to showcase the impact of their contributions and our ongoing needs.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Management, Social Sciences, or a related field; significant experience in fundraising or marketing may also be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in business development, preferably with expertise in CSR initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Deep passion for social impact and a respectful approach to diverse communities.
- Willingness and ability to travel within India and its surrounding areas as needed.
