Job Description :
As a Business Development Manager, you are expected to understand the client need to spot and exploit opportunities to utilize M1's products and services in the area of Data Sciences,Direct Marketing Services, and Marketing Operations. M1s B2B Customers are in the BFSI,Retail, Internet, Telecom, Education industries.
You are expected to do so by creating different promotional materials, PPTs, reaching out to prospective customers through diverse ways including cold calls, develop and nurture relationships with highest levels of decision making authorities, sell solutions to the customer needs and in a manner that is understood by different decision making authorities, work closely with delivery arms to ensure delivery and also ensure repeat businesses.
Responsibilities :
- Generate client awareness and preference for the business and its services. May include developing/sending promotional material, authoring articles, presenting in business forums, business associations, etc.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients through presentations, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, social Networking, etc.
- Build business transformation propositions for prospects/ industries and present these to prospective customers.
- Identify and close specific sales opportunities within target companies.
- Work closely with delivery functions in ensuring successful execution of projects.
- Recommend which opportunities the business should pursue using criteria such as highest probability of winning, profit potential, etc.
Skills and Qualification :
- The primary skill required for this job is that you are a person with a proven sales trackrecord driven by the the burning need to achieve targets
- You love to use technology (e.g. a CRM system such as Zoho and Salesforce) and data tofurther your strategy and goals
- Lead generation capabilities, cold calling techniques, f2f meeting techniques
- Industry expertise (at least two of the key industries in which M1 operates)
- Offer preparation and Negotiation techniques
- You have a sound understanding of the Marketing and Sales outsourcing including
MarTech landscape and opportunities
- You love people. You thrive on nurturing existing relationships and making new ones.
- You have reasonably good time management and planning skills
