Manager - Business Development - Marketing Services (3-10 yrs)
- Identifying, and prospecting new customers through strategic partners in an assigned geographic territory
- Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making process, and overcoming objections to capture new business opportunities
- Developing and utilizing marketing related events, seminars, mailings and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market
- Submitting accurate and timely forecasts that are aligned with assigned sales quotas
- Forecasting sales revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers, ensuring a full understanding of clients business needs and future requirements
- Conducting various prospecting activities such as cold calling and lead referrals, ensuring sales targets are met regularly
- Focusing primarily on account management, to build strong and long lasting relationships with key customers and develop an understanding of their needs
- Maintaining relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance
- Closing new business consistently at or above quota level exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
- Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership, demonstrating the ability to function independently, and comfortable working in large multi-cultural teams
- Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, tech savvy and has the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
- Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
- Prior experience of building and managing a hi-performing sales team/experience working in a marketing consultancy preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, time management skills
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills
