Manager - Business Development & Marketing - Lubricant (12-20 yrs)
Business development Role Job Description :
1. Sales & Marketing : Handling the marketing and sales operations for achieving increased growth & profitability. Identifying new streams for revenue growth & developing plans. Using sales forecasting to ensure the sale as well as profitability of products; analyzing business developments & monitoring market trends.
2. Business Development : Identifying prospective clients, generating business from new accounts & developing them to achieve consistent profitability. Initiating contact with potential customers for developing leads, sales & cross selling of lubricant products. Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major clientele, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by achieving performance parameters delivery & quality norms. Organizing various promotional activities for business expansion.
3. Market Research : Identifying competitor activities, customer behavior, etc. to gain the competitive edge. Analyzing latest marketing trends pertaining to other industrial trends, providing recommendations for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies.
4. Product Management : Revising & implementing pre & post marketing activities regarding technical features for successful launching of various products. Conceptualizing & implementing sales promotional activities jointly with marketing for brand awareness / market development. Building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements; utilizing mark feedback & personal network to develop marketing intelligence for positioning the products.
5. Channel Management : Identifying and networking with financially strong and reliable international marketing's resulting in deeper market penetration and improved market share. Developing and appointing new channel partners to expand product reach in the market and coordinating with the partners to assist them to promote the product.
6. Customer Relationship Management : Maintaining cordial relations with customers to sustain the profitability of the business. Setting up service level timelines and measuring performance against them and maximizing customer satisfaction level by on time delivery, monitoring customer complaints, providing efficient services. Handling customer grievances and resolving their issues for customer retention.
7. Team Management : Imparting/organizing training programs for achieving pre planned business targets. Leading, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in sales operations and meeting of individual & group target.
