Experience:
- Field exposure in construction sector or technical service (Preferred min 3 years)
- Relevant exposure for min 5 years in interface with govt. agencies
- 5+ yrs of work experience in sales /business development with min. 3 yrs of high exposure of selling to govt. and owner- driven business
- Building Materials (Cement/Steel),
- Construction chemicals, geo-synthetics, construction technologies, or in businesses engaged in B2G segment
Functional :
- Domain knowledge - Concept Selling, handling high-value premium pricing branded products,
- Lead pre-sales activities and direct sales
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, events coordination, etc.
- Proven ability/ Exposure to work through govt. departments - PR Skills & networking
- Fluency in English, Hindi & Territory language
- Develop & Execute necessary business plans

1. Map markets and bring out high probability assumptions, to create business plans for territory, seek collaborative efforts, undertakes targets and timelines, creates quality associates and works towards achievement of the submitted annual business plan. Facilitate the marketing efforts for Special Projects; execute BM-SDBC/DBM-BC/Micro-surfacing applications/ new product applications as per set target and timeline to support the S&M team to achieve Annual Business Plan.
2. Provision various budgets as per organization policy, develop the sales and marketing plan, build necessary team, identify team needs, build capabilities, tracks progress of territory targets and ensures achievement.
3. Ensure timely release of all the KRA's of the team members aligned to the BSC of the function
4. Maintain gross margins targets through increased brand pull and marketing push and secure operations within set budgets.
5. Make the territory technical services team use existing product lines more effectively and ensure successful technology interventions/ product launches within planned timelines by working with cross-functional teams to increase market penetration and bring solutions for customer. Directly handles the technical services to ensure business development & provide customer satisfaction in cases of trouble-shooting, technical sales etc.
6. Prepare annual MARCOM activity plan and implement monthly activities as per approved timelines & budget to secure targeted outcomes.
7. Handle key customer accounts and influencers through sincere efforts to build relationships and promote MARCOM activities engaging all stakeholders for highlighting brand experience.
8. Create & maintains associates and monitor their regular output and Provide alert to S&M support team within least time highlighting product failures and customer complaints, if any and resolve amicably with other cross-functional team to achieve closures within timelines.
9. Work on opportunities for inclusion of the company Cold Mix/ CRRI Cold Mix in all Detailed Project Reports of state/national level projects and achieve structured arrangements with states through TMA/empanelment process.
10. Develop and achieve results as per the funnel management process, maintain active database of key contractors and key govt. officials/ dept. ministers across assigned territories and arrange necessary meetings with other team members and use it for business development activities as well
11. Finished Goods stock management at various depots and associate points to be maintained as per set timelines and secure mechanisms for gaining market intelligence.
12. Undertakes sites visits, develop insights, highlight success stories, updates and makes sales pitch presentations to key customer / influencers across territory to promote Brand, Product and Group related information for business and brand development
13. Demonstrates ability to resolve customer crisis & conflicts and address it through cross functional efforts, and bring satisfaction to the process.
14. Collaboratively prepare TS team requirements of the territory and support recruitment of TS team members through leading engineering colleges in the region & develop cost-effective training for territory manpower requirements - within set timeline.
15. Track competitors information on business and collect sample of their products, pictures of sites, invoices, price list, customer issues as per set target & send it to BKC (ensure report submission on monthly basis with Head TSQC/DSM).
16. Technical Presentations at State Forums. Develop relationship with State PWD Research Labs, Technical Institutes for collaborative partnerships like paper submission/ field evaluation reports and ensuring desired field test results of executed works and conduct technical training for field engineers.
17. Works closely with leadership team of the company resources to achieve organizational targets as per Group Vision & Mission.
