Manager - Business Development - Manufacturing (9-15 yrs)

Responsibilities:

1. Strategically identify and target potential domestic and international customers within the precision manufacturing market.

2. Convert marketing-generated leads into high-value clients through expert communication and sales techniques.

3. Develop and execute sales strategies that leverage organization's unique strengths and capitalize on market insights.

4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, skillfully negotiate pricing and terms, and consistently achieve successful deal closures.

5. Nurture and foster enduring relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

6. Expertly navigate the sales cycle, adeptly managing client RFQs, winning competitive deals, and facilitating seamless project transitions.

7. Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, ensuring maximum order conversion to

consistently surpass sales targets.

8. Utilize CRM software effectively to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales information.

9. Gain a deep understanding of clients' development and procurement cycles to create innovative strategies and hacks that accelerate activities and expedite deal closures.

10. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering and production, to comprehensively understand and fulfill customer requirements.

11. Maintain an active engagement in market research, diligently monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.

12. Employ a deep understanding of clients' product and expansion strategies to craft tailored offerings that drive new business and generate RFQs.

13. Proactively follow up with clients to secure recurring orders, optimizing revenue potential and fostering long-term customer loyalty.

14. Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively identifying avenues for business growth with existing and prospective clients.

15. Provide regular, detailed, and insightful sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the management team.

Qualifications :

1. A proven track record of 10-15 years in successfully selling casting, forging, and

machining solutions to industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy and power, Mining, Earthmoving and construction machinery

2. Possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; an MBA is desirable, although not mandatory.

3. Demonstrated expertise in account management, with a stellar ability to cultivate and nurture client relationships.

4. Proficient in utilizing CRM software to effectively manage leads, opportunities, and

customer interactions.

5. A track record of consistently identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, resulting in closed sales deals.

6. Extensive experience in effectively managing US and European customers, leveraging in-depth knowledge of their operational processes to drive strategic deal closures.

7. A self-motivated, results-driven professional with a proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed ambitious sales targets.

8. Capable of seamlessly working both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

9. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, allowing for the seamless

establishment of rapport with clients across all organizational levels
