Manager - Business Development - Manufacturing (1-3 yrs)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager(female) with excellent communication skills to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify potential clients and strategic partners through market research and networking.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new business opportunities and expand market reach.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and pitches for prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with clients to understand their evolving requirements and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities and threats.
Communication and Collaboration :
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in interactions with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, finance, and operations to align business strategies and deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management roles, preferably in the Manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a passion for driving business growth.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
