Manager - Business Development - Logistics Domain (9-12 yrs)
Job Overview :
- We are one of the leading Logistics digital platforms specializing in digital transformation of Warehouses. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate business development professional who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships in Middle East. Your primary responsibility will be to work with the logistics business leadership team in India, identify prospective customers, engage with key stakeholders, and actively promote the adoption of our logistics platform in all GCC countries. You will need to have your extensive local industry knowledge in Logistics IT sales and especially warehousing space in GCC and relevant prior experience to achieve business objectives.
- Furthermore, you will also be responsible for overseeing branding and marketing activities and also showcasing benefits of our maritime, and BFSI solutions to the market as part of cross selling.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with our India-based business leadership team to craft and execute dynamic sales strategies tailored to GCC countries. Together, we will set our sights on ambitious sales targets, with a primary focus on delivering cutting-edge warehousing solutions.
- Immerse yourself in our product's unique selling points, quickly gaining a deep understanding of its value proposition. Armed with this knowledge, you will expertly align our offerings to cater to the specific needs of potential clients, positioning us as the perfect solution.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within GCC-based organizations. Your efforts will be instrumental in onboarding these valuable prospects to our platform, creating lasting partnerships.
- Be the master of captivating product presentations and compelling demonstrations that showcase the immense value our logistics platform brings. Your presentations will leave potential clients excited about the endless possibilities that await them.
- Utilize our product's features to accurately address the unique pain points and requirements of potential clients in the booming warehousing industry. Tailoring solutions that perfectly fit their needs will set us apart from the competition.

Qualifications and Experience :
- Education: Master's degree in business administration or a related field
- Experience : 8-12 years selling B2B SAAS IT products preferably in Logistics Sector (Warehouse Management Systems, Transport Management Systems etc)
Key Skills :
- Prior experience in selling Warehouse Management Systems in the Middle East would be a definite advantage.
- Basic Technical Knowledge Warehouse Management Systems architecture & peripherals to enable to understand and discuss Technical Queries from Prospects with support from the Product Team
- Experience in selling Maritime/Shipping & BFSI products would be define a plus to cross sell other Gemini products across the region.
- Proven B2B Sales experience of 6 to 10 years in Logistics IT field in Middle East with a successful track record in closing Logistics IT deals especially in Warehouse Management Systems
- Should be an experienced in B2B SAAS IT Product Salesperson in Dubai/Middle East market
- A team player who can closely work with India based Business Leadership team for sales strategies, market dynamics, branding strategies and ensuring the right product perspective is conveyed in the Middle East market.
- Should be able to quickly grasp the current product features and align the same with relevant prospects.
- Should have deep knowledge & connect with wide network of key decision makers of leading Warehousing Companies in the Middle East
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and genuine passion for sales, with a strong desire to excel in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including active listening, persuasive presentation abilities and negotiation skills for closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Results-driven : Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Adaptability : Flexible and adaptable to changing market dynamics, customer needs, and business priorities.
- UAE/GCC Driving License is a Must. Having self-transportation is desired.
- Ability to travel with the GCC region and outside as required.
- Preference will be given to candidates currently employed in Dubai on a job visa, working for an IT firm specializing in SAAS product sales, specifically in License Sales for Logistics IT products. Visa transfer is an option. Ideally, candidates should have strong sales experience with logistics SAAS products, such as Warehouse Management and Transport Management systems, within the Middle East. Additionally, they should possess a comprehensive understanding of the Middle East logistics IT network.
