We are a fully-funded young company using bleeding-edge computer science (e.g. machine learning, deep learning, etc.) to re-write the rules of the software industry by building intelligent machines that augment or replace human labor in the technology industry itself! Consequently, we have been inventing new technology in a whole host of areas and are filing several patents. We are already working with Fortune 500 clients who use our intelligent software systems to reliably replace manual effort. Based across Boston, London, and Bangalore, our team includes several PhDs and graduates from topnotch universities such as MIT, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Caltech, Dartmouth, and top rankers/medalists from the IITs and NITs. The senior leadership include a former founder of a VC/hedge fund, a computer scientist from Harvard, and a former founder of a successful digital media firm. Our team has collectively published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences and been granted over 20 patents. Our board members include some of the most well-known entrepreneurs across the globe, and early clients include some of the most innovative Fortune 100 companies today.
Job Description
The BDMs will work directly with the CEO and other senior leaders to fuel the growth of the company's sales and partnership opportunities. Our technology has the potential to transform the way organizations worldwide operate, and we are looking for BDMs who are excited by our core proposition and are able to communicate it effectively to clients.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contributing to all major aspects of first-time client engagements, including :
- Researching client prospects and prioritizing engagements
- Attending client pitches to excite and educate prospects
- Identifying business opportunities within prospective client organizations
- Pursuing legal, technical, and commercial approvals with client prospect organizations
- Developing strong relationships with existing clients to mine for new business opportunities
- Exploring other partnership types that could generate substantial revenue for the organization
Skill sets and attributes :
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial in nature, with a deep commitment to outstanding client satisfaction.
S/he should have :
- Capacity to take sound decisions independently under time-sensitive conditions
- Outstanding organizational skills and process-oriented thinking
- Maturity to lead presentations with Fortune 500 leaders
- Ability to lead large brainstorming sessions across a range of domains
- Infectious energy and enthusiasm (an absolute requirement!)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Deep fascination of technology with a willingness to learn
- Background in sales, consulting, banking, or computer science is a plus
