Manager - Business Development - IT Staffing (3-10 yrs)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT staffing, with a proven track record of developing successful client relationships and meeting sales targets. The BDM will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored staffing solutions to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in IT staffing.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the IT industry through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers, to ensure seamless delivery of staffing services and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms that maximize profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Track sales activities, pipeline development, and client interactions using CRM software, providing regular reports and updates to management.
- Stay updated on advancements in the IT industry and recruitment best practices, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and foster networking opportunities.
Requirement:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the staffing industry, with a focus on IT recruitment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including technology trends, skill requirements, and talent landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
