Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong contacts to secure deals for software development and maintenance service projects, and hands-on experience managing CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and WhatsApp marketing tools.
This role is perfect for a driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset, capable of expanding our client base and fostering long-term relationships in a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and connect with potential clients for software development and maintenance services.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to generate business opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and proposing suitable solutions.
CRM Management:
- Use CRM tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions effectively.
- Maintain accurate sales records and generate regular reports for management.
Marketing Tools Management:
- Execute campaigns using email and WhatsApp marketing tools to nurture leads and engage - with clients.
- Analyze marketing campaign results and suggest improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to align solutions with client requirements.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sales pipeline and market insights.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably in software development and IT services.
- Strong network and ability to generate leads and close deals in software development and maintenance projects.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and WhatsApp marketing tools like Interakt, Wati or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and articulate them effectively to clients.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering value to clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B sales in the IT/Software industry.
- Familiarity with emerging trends in software development and IT services.
