Manager - Business Development - IT/Recruitment Firm (3-4 yrs)

Responsibilities :
- Become an HR/Talent Acquisition industry expert
- Maintain knowledge, awareness of competitive products/platforms and communicate information learned with the team
- Develop growth strategy framework and support business growth initiatives (e.g. conceptualize, plan and execute marketing campaigns)
- Utilize business development process to identify opportunities, communicate technical applications and identify potential solutions and upsells
- Become an expert on our platform; display a deep understanding of its functionality, features, and impact for potential partners/customers
- Research, analyze, create and automate progress metrics for a startup
- Build a pipeline by prospecting and cultivating sales leads through consultative, strategic conversations (i.e. Outbound calls, emails and meetings)
- Identify potential partners, initiate contact with them, convince them to integrate with our platform, negotiate terms, and project manage the integrations
- Engage with existing customers & partners to build and maintain a feedback channel
Required Skills :
- SEO and online marketing
- Ability to see the big picture in support of the teams tasks and deadlines
- Excellent ideation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Detailed oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to work independently in day-to-day activities, plan and arrange own work

Preferred qualifications & experience :
- MBA graduate with a clear understanding of the digital/technology startup ecosystem, or equivalent in related experience or discipline.
- Prior experience in customer/partner-facing roles in software / SAAS sales
