Job Title : Business Development Manager
Location : Delhi (Gurgaon)
Job Purpose :
- MNC (Company) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, bright and talented individual with the drive and capabilities to establish a strong domestic sales team in Delhi selling commodity market intelligence solutions into the fast moving world of oil, energy and petrochemicals.
- The successful candidate will have 8 - 12 years of experience in sales management and be able to demonstrate a full mix of sales attributes: Be structured, adaptable and have worked successfully in close collaboration with business-to-business marketing and product teams.
- He or she must thrive in an international and complex environment, is a team player and is willing and able to combine innovative thinking with hands-on execution of sales from lead to close.
- Essential in this role is a strong drive to maximize revenue, accelerating the journey toward value-based selling for our market-leading benchmark pricing data services; the analytical mind-set to focus on how to influence results and a deep interest in customer needs and behaviour at different stages of the sales cycle.
Key Accountabilities :
- Lead business development activities and develops growth strategies and plans to grow new clients
- Effectively build, manage, and close a sales pipeline of qualified customers for Company's products and services.
- Establish strong customer relationships through strong influencing skills, understanding the customer's business, and issues affecting their marketplace
- Identify opportunities for generating revenue or improving our business offer
- Identify ways in which to attract new customers to our business
- Develops market (including new market) and account sales strategies
- Demonstrate our products focusing on the customer's business objectives
- Go the extra mile to exceed Sales targets and facilitate future sales
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements, purchasing dynamics, and contracting processes
- Practice good data management by entering and maintaining customer information into Salesforce.com and relevant CRM databases
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver world-leading sales enablement and marketing content, producing thought-leadership and leveraging support from content experts across the Company as required.

- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs in the changing market, our customers and the business
- Great negotiation and communication skills.
- Be prepared for occasional business travel.
