Manager - Business Development - IT (7-12 yrs)
Business Development Manager-Government/BFSI/Corporate Sales
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire Sales Generation Cycle
- Generate Corporate & Enterprise customers
- Revenue Generation in areas like System Integration, IT Infra
- Role will be 70% Transactional & Deliverable 30% Strategic & Leadership
- Build & manage a sales team of Managers, Executives and Sales Representatives
- Responsible for Marketing and Sales to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand objectives
- Keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability
- Prepare Business Plan on business design, structure, process and operating plan and financial model and update the management on regular intervals
- Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy
- Periodically review performance of team and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps
- Motivate and monitor the sales team and sales activities
- Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market share
- Monitor and analyze all marketing and sales reports received from team members & share with management
- Conduct regular meeting with clients and sales team to discuss target status, product training and sales strategy
- Coordinate with commercial, execution and administration departments to ensure timely orders, and smooth function of action in the system
- Ensuring all approvals related to consultants and other Government authorized bodies are made in a proper and timely manner
- Ensure the confidentiality of the customer list, mailing lists and other sensitive company information
Desired Education & Experience:
- 7-12 years- experience in selling IT solutions,Corporate and/or government sectors.
- Should have knowledge on System Integration, Data Center, Networking, hardware selling
- Should have a good database of prospective clientele preferably from BFSI / HLS / PSU /Corporate/Government
Desired Skill sets:
- Excellent in planning and forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation Skills.
- Should be a self-starter
- Should have started a business of Business and deployed PAN India/metro city
