Manager - Business Development - IT (7-10 yrs)
Essential :
- Pipeline building & size, ageing and quality
- Midmarket/Upmarket customer reach
- IT Sales IT Services & ERP Knowledge
- Focus on Customer Satisfaction & Retention
- 7-10 years of experience in IT solutions and services sales
- Fluent in oral and written English
- At least 5 years- experience in IT sales
- Familiarity with issues & challenges related to Medium Businesses.
- Organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- College degree in Business Administration, Marketing or MBA or BCA or MCA or B. tech/B. E or Any Professional Degree or related experience
- Experience and understanding of the IT industry preferred
- Should have good exposure in selling the following
- ERP Sales and Services to JAPAC
- Infra & Cloud Infrastructure Sales & Services experience for ERP Products and services
- Excellent in qualifying & pursuing potential opportunities to closures
- Should have good experience in writing proposals or responding to RFIs, Request Proposal Request (RFP)
- Candidate with experience in Tenders & Bidding is an advantage.
- Candidate must be from the Business solution or Business sales consulting
- Must be working as Assistant or Manager Level.
- Ready to take the hunting role and close deals
Job description :
- Responsible to work with lead generation specialists and ensuring required MQL and SQLs are achieved from them
- Nurturing various MQLs to Opportunities and the closures
- Achieve all parameters of the sales life cycle - SQLs, Opportunities, Number of Deals, Order Booking targets and Revenue targets
- Create & implement micro level sales strategies to achieve desired sales results
- Generates ideas and defines strategies to achieve business and customer satisfaction goals
- Has to work in team with various marketing, sales, presales, delivery, and other organizational functions
- Generate weekly sales and lead generation reports to the management for weekly reviews
- Account Management - Participates in periodic meetings and conference calls with Client to follow up business and define action plans
- Presents results to his superiors, including business analysis of highlights and lowlights and action plan to exceed goals
- Responsible for building a strong network / relationship with clients (especially international).
- Should have skills to aid in proposals, power-point presentation & documentation.
- Follow ups with prospects on regular basis.
- Able to follow sales lifecycle and open up new leads on regular basis.
- Act as a Individual contributor carrying Opportunity and Order Booking Target
- Should also generate SQLs individually as Sales Hunter role
